Founders First partner, Brogan’s Way has been recognised as ‘One to Watch’ at the Icons of Gin Awards in London earlier this year.
The awards saw a range of Australian gin brands receive “top honours time and time again”, with thousands of gin distillers around the world.
Distiller Brogan Carr has the science and growing list of awards fast growing a reputation as one of the youngest and most qualified in her field. Brogan’s approach to gin comes with a high level of chemistry and an edge with her mix of traditional and native ingredients.
Carr says: “Australian native botanicals are an interesting and complex combination of flavours, which is evident from their chemical composition. My studies focused on the chemical and sensory analysis of some of the more popular Australian natives.
Brogan’s Way has a number of accolades, some recent awards include:
The Royal Blood Gin: awarded Gold at the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards 2019, and Silver at the recent 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition,
The Everyday Salvation: Silver at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Bronze at the Australian Distilled Spirits and Australian Gin Awards.
