KIS first impacted by the devastating Kangaroo Island bushfires earlier this year, now find themselves facing new challenges as tourism and non-essential businesses have been forced to close Australia wide to stop the spread of coronavirus.

KIS eager to help in the fight against coronavirus are turning their distillery into a sanitizer manufacturer in efforts to overcome the global shortage. They will be making their waste ethanol available for the KI hospital and Community Education schools, prioritizing those in need.
