CHIEF EXECUTIVE & MANAGING DIRECTOR

 

Mark is a proven CEO and business leader, with a reputation that speaks for itself. With a professional career that spans over 25 years, he has extensive executive experience within global corporations, as well as relevant business insights and deep customer relationships across the beverages, retail and hospitality industries.

 

He is an expert at leading and growing successful businesses and in building organisational capability and culture, clearly evident in the legacy he has left at Carlton & United Breweries (AB Inbev), SAB Miller, Lion and the AFL club Port Adelaide (PAFC).

 

Whilst at Carlton & United Breweries (CUB), Mark led a key strategic intervention to rebalance the investment portfolio, catalysing the turnaround of the Australian business in 2016 and the subsequent acquisition of 4 Pines and Pirate Life in 2017. In addition under his leadership of the national sales team, CUB achieved sustained market share growth and earnings growth for three consecutive years. 

 

Mark is a natural collaborator, with an entrepreneurial spirit and pragmatic, commercial approach. As CEO of PAFC, Mark played a dominant and influential role in the return of AFL football to Adelaide Oval, triggering incremental stadium returns and an immediate funding package for the Club to enable the rebuild of capability back to nationally competitive levels.

 

Mark holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.  Director experience includes the Moseley Bar & Kitchen, the RD Jones Group, the University of SA Business School, Starlight Foundation, and Marine Stores Pty Ltd.

Stuart Morton

 

FINANCE DIRECTOR & FOUNDER

 

Stuart’s entrepreneurial expertise, analytical approach and new business development skills have been evident in recent years particularly with property syndication ventures in the United States as well as Greenfield Capital, syndicating over $30M in residential house and land packages in Australia.

 

He was a co-founder of Empresaria Group plc which funds and accelerates new startups in the business services sector. Empresaria has funded over 40 companies across 14 countries and is listed on the Alternative Investment Market in London.

With a passion for new business initiatives Stuart seeks to share his business networks and expertise when coaching new company founders. He is currently the chairman of Jetty Road Brewery located on the Mornington Peninsula. 

 

Stuart has a Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Finance from Bond University.

Dan Wales

 

CATEGORY GENERAL MANAGER - BEER & FOUNDER

Dan has over 20 years of experience in building and accelerating brands and growing categories within the FMCG industry, with the largest food and beverage multinationals in the world.

His experience span’s across global icons such as Nestle, Cadbury, Mondelez, Lion and Treasury Wine Estates in roles across sales, marketing, strategy and category expansion.

 

Dan has held senior leadership roles namely as Sales Category & Strategy Director for Lion in which he was responsible for developing the growth strategy to deliver the commercial portfolio for a +$2B business.   He has also directly managed brand portfolios in excess of $900M in sales. More recently Dan was the Head of Category & Strategy for Treasury Wine Estates in which he was responsible for developing their alcohol category growth strategy.

 

Dan’s passion is to identify entrepreneurial ways to accelerate the growth of brands and work with founders to help bring their brand vision to life.

 

Dan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree from the University of Wollongong.

Robin Levison

 

NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

 

A highly qualified business leader with a proven track record of success in the financial services, manufacturing and resource sectors, both at a senior management and board level.

 

A hallmark of his corporate career has been proven ability to successfully turnaround underperforming companies, significantly expand the scale and profitability of small cap ASX listed companies, and generate significant value for shareholders. This was particularly evidenced when he took Industrea Limited from a market capitalisation of $2 million into a global provider of specialist mining products and services, which was ultimately acquired by US conglomerate General Electric Company (GE) for an enterprise value of $700 million.

Since 2013, Robin has focused on his corporate advisory business Ignition Equity Partners Pty Ltd, and in this capacity has taken significant equity stakes in two ASX listed companies, which he is currently overseeing revitalised growth strategies.

Robin holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Queensland, is a Chartered Accountant and is a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

John Hood

 

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

John has spent his career providing strategic business, taxation and financial advice to organisation sranging from privately owned and regional businesses to multinational corporations and public sector entities. 

After spending 11 years with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, John was the Managing Partner and CEO of accounting firm, MHM, prior to its merger with Deloitte in 2010. In addition to Humanee, his new advisory firm, John is a co-founder of Intersect a collaborative work space for like-minded business members to work and network.

 

Director experience includes Port Adelaide Football Club, Flinders University, Foodbank SA, Seymour College Foundation Inc. and Momentum Food and Wine. 

John holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Flinders University in South Australia. John is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
