Beginning Thursday 21 May, music and craft beer lovers can support their favourite local brewers, bands and musicians with the exciting new weekly music event, Thursday Night Knock Offs.
Thursday Night Knock Offs is presented by Founders First in conjunction with the newly released Indie Craft Knock Offs Pack which are 16 craft beers from breweries across Australia selected by Cicerone Tiffany Waldron and on sale in Liquorland, First Choice or Vintage Cellars stores across the country.
The gigs will hosted on the rooftop of Adelaide’s Sparkke at The Whitmore’s and presented via Facebook Live, the ultimate way to experience the pub at home. The line-up of artists will showcase some amazing Australian female bands and solo artists which Founders is excited to play a role in showcasing.
Founders First’s Director of Venues and Hospitality Ash Cranston said, “Going to the pub to catch your mates and favourite band in the front bar with a local craft beer in your hand is one of the great Aussie traditions.”
“Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to do this of late, and local musicians, bands and craft breweries have been affected. We want to bring back this experience with Thursday Night Knock Offs to support some of our great music, brewing talents and pub culture.”
Premiering this Thursday, the 21st of May, Thursday Night Knock Offs line-up is as follows:
Thursday 21st May: Alana Jagt.
Thursday 28th May: The Boys Club
Thursday 4th June : The Eileens
Thursday 11th June: George Alice
Performances will be streamed on Facebook every Thursday evening from 6pm on the Sparkke Change Beverage Company Facebook and shared by all 16 breweries through their social channels.
